Bel Fuse has expanded its range of three-phase dry-type transformers for medical, industriale, illuminazione, electric vehicle charging and green energy applications. Bel Fuse Signal Transformer Division's 3PH series dry-type transformers are adapted to various requirements and permanently configured for 3-phase DELTA input and WYE output. Electrostatic Shielding (ESS) between input/output windings attenuates line noise by preventing feedthrough of undesirable signals and serves as a safety feature in the event of a single fault.

Dry-type rigid transformer features rugged Class H (180°C), enhanced UL 1446 File E66312 insulation system, 4KV dielectric withstand rating, 130°C maximum self-heating temperature, 40°C maximum ambient temperature and low leakage current capability.

Target applications include MRI, radiation and other medical equipment, machine tools, welding machines, e vento, solar and lighting power conversion systems.

The rigid transformers operate at 50 O 60 Hz and offer power ranges from 2KVA to 35KVA, with a maximum input voltage of 500 VCA, a maximum load current of 69A RMS, and an efficiency greater than 93%. All 3PH models are UL listed to UL 60601-1 medical standard and can be constructed by UL File E151299.

Signal says they can easily modify these transformers to create many variations for customer needs in a relatively short period.
