GFDseries cross-flow cooling fan for top-blowing dry-type transformer (from now on referred to as dry-variable cross flow cooling fan) is mainly used for dry-type transformer cooling capacity increase and forced air supply cooling for electronic equipment, Power Distribution Cabinets, high and low voltage switchgear, etc. Dry type transformers enhance their heat dissipation capacity by installing fans, it can increase the capacity by 40~50% operation, thereby significantly improving the dry-type transformer's bearing capacity and extending the dry-type transformer's service life.
When this series of cooling fans is used in dry-type transformers, the fans are placed on both sides of the lower part of the transformer coil.
